Aim
This programme provides Primary & Secondary School Team, Middle and Senior Leaders with the skills, strategies and techniques to bring about change using ‘Coaching’ as a mechanism, whether for Leadership, Teaching and Learning in the classroom, or when working with other adults across the organisation.

About the Programme
The programme provides opportunities for delegates to engage in a range of activities and understand theories underpinning effective Coaching practice. Theory and Practice is linked directly to Leadership, working with other Adults and teams and with students in the classroom.


The following areas are explored;

  • Principles and Practice of Coaching
  • Setting up Coaching processes, mechanisms and overcoming barriers
  • Developing Coaching relationships and securing trust
  • Exploring and using Coaching Models, Strategies and Questioning for Impact
  • Coaching, Mentoring, Teaching and Counselling – Which hat to wear?
