Monitoring the quality of education and the curriculum for Governors and Trustees Download Flyer
This year, one of the main foci for schools has been assessing pupils after returning from lockdown and delivering a curriculum that reflects their knowledge and helps them catch up on the education missed during lockdown and time spent out of school during the pandemic. This webinar explains how boards should monitor the curriculum in 2021 and prepare for monitoring it in 2022.
This WEBINAR provides guidance on how to monitor the quality of education and the curriculum, understanding its intent and any development plans, how it has been implemented and its impact in terms of catching up, attainment and progress.
On this webinar you will learn:
What are the latest changes to the National Curriculum?
What do baseline assessments tell you?
Understanding the new Reception Baseline Assessment (RBA)
Expectations for attainment and progress in 2020/21
What to expect from catch-up schemes
Monitoring against curriculum plans
Getting the right in-year data
How to use national comparisons, trends and context to better understand your data
How to monitor all aspects of quality of education
